Kathleen has been assisting elder persons and their families in Northern Virginia since 1995. She is an experienced estate planning and elder law attorney who is committed to helping families and their loved ones. Her practice focuses exclusively on estate planning and elder law. Kathleen is the former chairperson of the Fairfax County Bar Association’s Elder Law Section, a member of the Northern Virginia Estate Planning Council, and a member of the Trusts and Estates Sections of the Virginia Bar Association, the Fairfax Bar Association and the District of Columbia Bar Association. She is a frequent lecturer at community and civic organizations.

Kathleen received her law degree from Suffolk University Law School in Boston, Massachusetts, in 1972. In 1995 she received her Master of Laws in Taxation (LL.M.) from Boston University Law School. She is admitted to practice law in the Commonwealth of Virginia, the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, and the District of Columbia. Kathleen graduated from Western Connecticut University with a Bachelor of Science in Education in 1969.
