Elizabeth Lynn Gray, Member


Elizabeth Gray has been practicing in the estate planning and elder law area for over 10 years. She is certified as an Elder Law Attorney by the National Elder Law Foundation. Besides drafting a wide variety of estate planning documents, Elizabeth also helps disabled adults obtain public benefits including Medicaid, Supplemental Security Income (SSI) and Social Security Disability (SSD). She serves as a court-appointed guardian ad litem and has aided numerous families in guardianship and conservatorship proceedings.
 
Elizabeth is a co-chairperson of the Fairfax County Bar Association’s Wills, Trusts & Estates Section. She is the former co-chairperson of the Fairfax County Bar Association’s Elder Law and Law Practice Management Sections. Elizabeth is the current Vice President of the Virginia Academy of Elder Law Attorneys.  For helping victims of September 11, 2001, Elizabeth received the "Legal Assistance Distinguished Service Award" from the American Bar Association.
 
Elizabeth is a former Virginia “Law Reader”. The Law Reader program is an alternative to law school where the student apprentices with a practicing attorney. Elizabeth received her license to practice law from the Supreme Court of Virginia in 1996. She is admitted to practice law in the Commonwealth of Virginia. Elizabeth received her undergraduate degree in political science from the State University of New York at Binghamton in 1986.
